Dime Child Foundation’s magazine program focuses on educating youth about journalism, specifically magazine work. Participants gain hands-on experience through learning journalistic basics, interviewing story sources, transcribing the digital interviews and becoming proficient at typing and writing. In time, the knowledge, skills and networking with sources will provide ample college and career opportunities in the journalism, advertising, marketing and design fields.
